I've been given permission to show some of the work I created for Free Range Games, on an Unreleased Title, as part of Tripunk! This project was super fun to be a part of, my environment art experience grew massively and it was very exciting to watch something grow from the start.
I had a lot more responsibility in this scene as I was now working as the sole environment artist, after receiving a proxy blockout from Jeff Swenty, our Creative Director, I was able to go in and plan out what was required to bring the area to life, as well as slightly restructure the initial drop tunnel and exit stairs for greater impact. From creating the main brick tileable, and the coffins and debris kits used inside, I also made almost all set dressing elements, restructured walls and floors to have 3D offset with 3D brick patches, as well as set dressing the main environment. James Ward re-joined us briefly to aid in the final set dressing of the wooden support beams and dirt decals, James was also responsible for the original flag stone floor tileable, with me building on the final outcome to meet necessary direction.
